Zinc VitaminWhy vitamin pills zinc stuck in my throat when I try to swallow?

Sometimes when I try to take a vitamin zinc, it gets stuck in my throat when I try to swallow it and emits a temporary irritation to my throat burn while its there .. whats going on?

instead chew or crush it and put it in applesauce or yogurt
