Do I need to fast before a vitamin test? Too late to get your hands on my doctors' offices.

However, it is not usual to order just one test. Is it for others? If there is a "comprehensive metabolic panel" or something like that on the form, be fasting.
I could not find the answer on one of the websites I visited, it's a good question. I suppose you would not be less load on the fish oil, cod liver drink, or D-fortified dairy products before the test that could distort the results would be higher. I am not certified in clinical laboratory analysis.
