The Pill Nhs

The Pill NhsAlternative medicine in the NHS

I am amazed that even today, knowing the relationship between body and mind as we continue as a nation to feed ourselves with drugs and other pills wherever our bodies send us a message something wrong. I think more time and money should be invested in the fight against the real causes of disease, rather than continually treating the symptoms. I'm a member of the Executive of the NHS for free and alternative practitioners. It's something I need to pay to play whist with the phrasing very carefully worded above. My contact details are on a list of NHS somewhere and I have never received a referral after being on this. I even hypnotized receptionist in a doctor from several doctors at a meeting Primary Care Trust.

Below, I explore some reasons why I believe that hypnotherapy and other such practices should be given much credibility by medical institutions.

1. Relaxation

Lets face it, the only time most people to relax these days when they go to bed, and then they can not even do that properly, the brain is busy right to the point where they have really need is to go to sleep. Relaxation is so important and should be part of your routine every day. Without it, it is often impossible to untie the accumulation of stress that accumulate in everyday working life we have. This can lead to serious conditions in the body, such as headaches, IBS, muscular pain and lack of energy.

2. Motivation

Quite simply we are not very far without it. Motivation keeps us going and we continued to grow, and everyone must develop in order to feel fulfilled in life. We have two types of motivation in life, things we are motivated to achieve and the things we are motivated to leave. Curiously it has the most power due to the fact that it is more like a survival instinct. In short, motivation is essential in life and you will not really very far without it.

3. Life Changes

This is probably the largest of the three. People want to change their lives in different ways. For some, their lives could be changed to change their lifestyle, taking more exercise or stop smoking for example. For others, change their lives could mean leaving behind years of emotional baggage from abusive relationships. Nevertheless, a small change always tends to snowball and affect positive effects in many other areas of life too.

Hypnotherapy has been used as a therapeutic tool for many years and has been recognized by the British Medical Association since 1955. However, it is still painted as invalid and Pokery Jiggery. If as a nation, we have invested so much money into alternative practices as we have in the pharmaceutical industry, we have invested wisely. People would be better positioned to take responsibility for the impact their lifestyles have on their bodies, getting better is more empowerment, money may be less health services would be used to treat symptoms and are more oriented towards research and resolution of cases. Let's hope for the future that our potential as human beings can be taken more seriously than our faith in the medicines manufactured.
