Survival Kits

Survival KitsHow an emergency roadside and survival kits at home?

My family and I travel for holidays to come. We need to know what we need to take with us and the kits are too expensive. So what do you put in a winter survival kit and roadside???

This is a subject I know very well as I write,
conference, and to teach the average survival
person.

The real problem in what to put in a kit you build
is the knowledge you have about how well
use such a kit.

In addition, since it may be limited space for a kit,
and / or you may have to carry by hand,
the amount of mass and weight is a problem.

What you must always remember is that there
There are four things you need to provide any type
the situation of survival: food, water, shelter,
and protection. The first three are self explanatory.
However, the protection means more than
type, the first impression. It is very complex
provision because it means the protection against
elements of nature and human nature.

Protection means sufficient clothing to deal with
whatever weather may be encountered.
This means that the mental preparation of good
How to cope with a sudden mishap of any
type. This also means that supplies would be
necessary to provide what you might need
if misfortune can last long.
This does not mean that you must wear a firearm, or
any other type of weapon (other than a good
knife). But this means that you must be
mentally prepared for any kind of danger
can possibly happen to you. I always teach
"Expect the best! Prepare for the worst!
Take what's coming! "

The biggest problem with people today is
we have become so accustomed to living in
a society that protected the imagination
us not even consider how
bad our situation may become in turn
a moment. We all will survive;
continue to live. However, we simply
enough to imagine the worst kind of
situation. We never consider the possibility
to be very large. We confuse "possibility"
with "probability". Remember that
possibility of anything is always 50/50.
It is the probability that can be very low,
but the possibility is always 50/50. Our own
preparation should not be forgotten, and to reflect
this.

I'll give you a list of things you can
choose to take. You, however, must
decide what you would probably need
take. I make kits for people all the time,
but I always take into consideration
their level of competence, knowledge, and training.
I make small packages, but also suggest more
types of "kits pack. Even smaller
that can be placed or moved anywhere must
be developed for the individual. Each element is
carefully selected to provide the way
for a person to survive anything, but
skills, knowledge and training is very
criticism. I use many examples where
had everything they needed to survive
situation, but died. They may
had any tangible, but lacked
mental preparation for survival.

I am very very congratulate you for thinking of
this question in advance. Most people do not.
I suggest you get a copy of a boy
Scout field book as a good guide if you
not trained for this type of situation.
There are many books out there, even
I wrote, but the Scout field book
covers many a great help. I always use
mine much.
