Skin Sores

One member of my family has a small deep wounds everywhere. They are more concentrated on the face, arms and legs. It seems most of the skin that receives the most fire wounds of the chest, back, etc. I have no idea what this is caused by. The family member had a dependency on prescription drugs in the previous pain pills, but is clean now since she went through rehabilitation. I still think it's a liver problem, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?
