Burning pain without signs of sinus infection? For months now my sinuses continue to burn. It all started when I bent over, and now it will happen when I'm sitting. There are no signs of infection. No yellow nasal discharge, nothing. Just combustion. My nose is blocked or not running. It's like I inhaled water through the nostrils. Ideas? This is not so bad as to be debilitating, but it hurts and make my eyes water.
You can still have a sinus infection, without other signs.
Sinus, nose, throat, and lungs:
Boil salted water in a saucepan on the fire. Turn off the burner. Blow your nose against the cough and some mucus. Make a fume hood to drape a towel small and medium enterprises on the head and the pot. Breathing steam salt in your nose, your mouth several times. Breathing a little in your mouth and nose a few times too. Blow your nose often. Keep this up off the steam. You can do this trick a few times during the day until you feel better. Salt is great.
OVER THE COUNTER MEDS to try:
** Sinus Decongestant: 5mg phenylephrine. You do not necessarily need all the extras, it is often mixed with.
