Alternative high-quality protein typical choice BodyBuilding If you're a bodybuilder peak, chances are that you are very sick chicken. You probably consume one to two pounds of chicken per day, and have done for years 2 or 4 or 6, correct? Chicken is a staple of healthy diets in bodybuilding, and advanced bodybuilders tolerate on a daily basis in the quest for muscle mass.
Surely you have your eggs for breakfast. You have your whey and casein shakes after workouts and evening. Do you like red meat in moderation, as health permits. And you eat your fish, when held high calories is not a concern. However, most of the time you pile on the chicken, and you swallow. Well, here are some alternatives to plain ol 'chicken, which could prevent you from growing feathers.
Milk
Four cups of skim milk contains over 30 grams of protein and no fat - perfect for a quick snack at midday. Start slowly with milk if you're not used to consume large quantities, and try lactose-free dairy products if you have friendly gastro-intestinal
Jerky
If you are in agreement with a low sodium, dry can be a quick, delicious, which provides the protein that you need with a taste you'll love. Available in beef, ostrich, Turkey, and other variants, is jerky carb-free and can be stored anywhere and eaten quickly. Drink plenty of water to fight against the high sodium content, and do not eat jerky in the two weeks before a show.
Protein Pudding
This can be purchased commercially (a bit pricey but very delicious). Or you can make your own mix now Jell-O sugar-free packets of whey protein and water. The perfect dessert!
Soybean
vegan using soy taste much like chicken or beef, are excellent for digestion, and can be prepared in a flash to deliver 30 grams of protein rapidly.
Rich in proteins "gimmick" foods
The Atkins diet high in protein has led to the formulation of some really interesting food proteins. Cereals, bagels, breads, and more are now available that can give you 20 or 30 grams of protein quickly without any feathers around!
