Ovulation After Stopping The Pill

Posted on March 26, 2010.
Ovulation After Stopping The PillAfter stopping the pill, how do you figure on ovulation??

So I stopped taking my pills after my last cycle ended June 14. I had a normal period. Then I bled again on 23 for two days. Do I count from my period or withdrawal bleeding on the 23?? Or should I wait until I get a normal period?

Every woman ovulates on a different day, not necessarily 14 days after the start of your period. There are some indicators of ovulation you can follow, including cervical mucus, cervical position and BBT. There are also home tests for detection of ovulation, which rely on the presence of the chemical in the urine LH that precedes ovulation by a day or two.

Wait until you have your next AND CHIEF OF THE 14 DAYS first day

Me think you shoud wait until you have another normal period because you probably just had some bleeding break, and want your body to resume a normal cycle before trying to become pregnant. they sell kits for ovulation to the pharmacy next to the pregnancy test and the directions tell you how to keep a calendar and results should tell you which days would be best to try to concieve. Good luck!

I think u should wait until your normal period. that way you all came back normal.

stop all the headaches and buy a Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor. I stopped the pill mid-March and I did not ovulate 14 days for my cycle. different sound to each measuring cycle had to my cycles were 32-36 days in length. I would have had no idea when I ovulated if not for this monitor. they say you must wait two cycles to detach PCO, but I na. the doctors told me it may take up to eight months to regulate my cycles again after stopping the pill (on the right for 9 years) but my regulated immediately. This is the beginning of my third cycle using and hopefully this will be my month! Good luck!

The cheapest one is the most reliable way to trace your free time http://fertilityfriend.com . You will not know that you ovulated later than three days after the fact, but after a few months you will see a pattern and know when ovulation and the length of your luteal phase is. Good luck:)
