Home or remedies against oral candidiasis in adults? I recently completed a course of antibiotics for an abscess on my tooth and are now suffering from thrush: 0 (can you think what I can do to relieve my symptoms.

Thrush is a fungal infection and I honestly can not think of anything you can put in your mouth for a fungal infection, unless u dont mind putting athletes foot medicine on the tongue, which I doubt. .. ok try calling a pharmacist and ask or a herbal store, sometimes they have great stuff nobody knows .... Plain Old Listerine will work in a pinch, but not as quickly. You put in your mouth as ususal, but instead of gargeling, just the swish around your mouth. Keep it in at least 30 seconds. not walk as fast as the drugs, but it is effective.
Daktarin Oral Gel may be appropriate, it is available over the counter. Fungalin nystatin and perhaps better, but they are prescription only.
I get this opportunity, and there is nothing effective on the counter. It is a trip to GP I am afraid :-(

You should see your GP. Do not use mouthwash, most have alcohol as only dry mouth and worsen the problem.
I think living plain yogurt is effective for thrush. Try to eat some and keep it in the mouth for a while before swallowing. Also, avoid yeast that is what feeds the thrush.
They mouthwash your doctor may perscribe for you. This is called "nystaten.
I got so bad that my mouth was all black, and my doctor suck "vaginal suppositories, it was not pretty!
