What home remedies have you used to treat a yeast infection men? Help me guys. Im in no real pain, but the irritation is really horrible. I'm barely able to work.
If you really want to get rid of yeast infection, you should follow these tips:
1) Eat yogurt! It contains beneficial bacteria (live cultures, including acidophilus and bifidus) that destroy yeast. Use only plain yogurt with active cultures.
2) Shower with a solution of 1 to 3 tbsp soup. vinegar in a liter of water. Repeat once a day while having symptoms, but no more than a week.
3) Reduce or eliminate sugar and sugary foods. Sugar promotes yeast growth.
4) Use a clove of garlic as a suppository. Garlic contains a natural anti-fungal agent.
5) Try to gentian violet. It is a traditional remedy for yeast and other infections, and can be found in pharmacies. Clean the area with one or two times a day. Make sure to use a thick pillow - it stains everything.
6) Use a shower herbal. Combine equal amounts of sage, raspberry and comfrey with 1 / 4 part goldenseal. This can be combined with cider vinegar.
7) You must use a herbal treatment. In this case Yeastrol is really good (probably better) product that gets rid of yeast infection relatively quickly and makes you feel more confident knowing that it used to reappear!
And of course, it is best if you use full course (five months - if I remember correctly). For me, it worked very fast + I yeast infections more ...
I do not know if all pharmacies carry Yeastrol but I know you have to buy directly from the manufacturer and find out more about the product here http://www.mybeautynhealth.com/product/o ...
Good luck!

You must be sure it is in fact a yeast infection. If this is you can use the drug over the counter yeast infections that women use. Just buy it in the tube, not pre-filled. Apply 3-4 times daily. Keep in support from 5 to 7 days, even if you feel better, otherwise it will return. Eat yogurt, try not to eat sugar.
In addition, a doctor may prescribe you a pill you could take.
Good luck
Firstly, I am sorry to hear that you have a yeast infection. I know this can be both painful and embarrassing. We really need to start by visiting your doctor for a professional diagnosis to make sure it is in fact a yeast infection, you're dealing with, and nothing else.
Once you are sure it's a yeast infection, you can treat it by:
- Sugar avoiding as much as possible (live yeast on sugar).
- NO SUGAR Eating yogurt with live acidophilus cultures, at least two cups a day.
- Eat lots of garlic, which is anti-fungal.
- Apply the unsweetened yogurt to the affected area for a few minutes three times a day.
- Apply the crushed garlic (as mushy as you can do) to the affected area for a few minutes, three times a day.
Following the home remedies you should above all be cured in one week. If you're still not better in a week time to see the doctor. Good luck!
