Home remedy for yeast infection in dog's ear? I heard wipe the inside of the ear with white vinegar can eliminate the yeast infection is a puppy. How diluted? And do you do it every day until it is cleared? I had dogs in the past who have had yeast infections in ears, and familiar with the symptoms. I've never tried this home remedy, but it sounds much better than medication and ear drops with, who knows what in them. Anyone try this and it worked?
I used this method for years! If her ears are very inflamed and have a strong odor, it is likely to need antibiotic ear hunting @ the vet. Otherwise, you can use and dropper and put 3-4 drops of each in the channel, fold the ear down, and the enemy massgae about 30 seconds. Then, use an ear cleaner and alcohol to clean his ears will be refined. (I use Ark Naturals Ear to the right) for the prevention, put 3-4 drops (dependning on how great it is) to each ear bi-weekly. This neautralizes yeast and prevents accumulation. I have a Sibe who is allergic to gluten whest, and he had the habit of infections in the channel. Since I started with the vinegar (4 years), he has not had a single infection! You can try to use
Added: "I strongly suggest to him on a wheat free diet (gluten and low), as wheat is the # 1 cause of cause yeast infections. I turn my dogs Innova and Merrick between first with additives and probiotics.
To treat a yeast infection, you need medication the vet. Nothing else can cure the infection. Do not waste your time and effort on something dilution of vinegar. It will not work all the time and the poor dog is suffering with the infection. Would you treat your ears clean with vinegar and water???
Sorry ... I have not heard of it. Glad you do not have a problem taking your pet to a veterinarian. Most people do. Good luck!
is only to clean the ear. it will not deal a yeast infection. go to the vet.
Infection requires a visit to the vet. These cuts are only $ 10. and with an office visit may be $ 40 or $ 50.
