Hives Symptoms

Hives SymptomsSymptoms Hives?

I recently had to deal with my first case of hives, underway for about six weeks, is overall better but I get a random example swelling of my lower lip down, "a" finger .. etc.
Is this strange coincidence swelling specific locations and isolated hives really fair?? Kinda scares me .... I think it's hives, so strange, if not, I am in very good health. Any serious input would be appreciated. I will see the allergist for a follow up visit tomorrow. He has already done two blood tests and can not find anything I'm allergic. He said he will probably just disappear in a few months. The worries me strange swelling, itching and unpleasant hives themselves.

In fact, I have chronic urticaria, which is rather unfortunate because it will start in the middle of the night when I'm too tired to get up and get my medicine and will continue until the itching, I am too tired to scratch more. Looks like you may have chronic hives and your skin is hypersensitive to things. I started to develop this when I was up so that her son nothing to fear. The allergist should probably give antihistamines to be taken once a day as Allegra so that the frequency and severity of outbreaks is reduced. I usually forget to take them every day and I even bothered to take them when I'm really quite serious epidemic, but it is not unbearable to deal with that. The swelling is normal, because thats not what the hives. The itching is also how the hives are. You'll be fine, a tip is to try not to scratch too, because for me, it spreads because of the sensitivity of my skin. Anyway, good luck, and a little reassuring to know that I am not totally alone!

Sounds like it could also be stress. I did the same thing once when I moved, it took a few weeks and went away. I itched like crazy, and it still happens sometimes when I'm stressed

Stress plays an important role when you develop hives. it can be treated to consult your doctor. This is nothing, you have to worry. Relax and you see the doctor

Try putting ice on your hives. It should help reduce swelling and itching will also help. I get hives for about 10 years and I was told they come from stress. When I'm really bad I take steroids to reduce swelling. And a pill cons itchy too. But I found that water with ice or very cold helps. Good luck I hope you soon on them.

Usually hives are either stress related or allergy related. Just to be sure that you consult a doctor .... if it is a symptom of a disease.

Best wishes,

Sue
