Can anyone recommend natural treatments for headaches? I woke up at 7 am this morning with a headache on the front of my eyes, I only had two units of alcohol last night, SO doubt it is a hangover.
Until today, I tried
dyrdamol Co (paracetamol and codeine)
80 mg of codeine
Hedex (not sure What I think in the paracetamol and aspirin)
Nureofen express
Nurefeon more (codeine)
feminax (contains paracetomol and rexlaxant Muscel)
I also took Alka Seltzer.
I was careful to space products containing parecetomol order not to cause damage even if I went a little over the recommended amount.
I drank a lot of water, I've spent most of the day lying in a dark room with a cooling pad on my eyes, and I still have a headache (although it is much less severe today)
My question is, do you know of any natural remedies that I obviously can not take more painkillers
Should I call NHS Direct (whenever I do they just told me to go to doctors or A and E, Im not going to A & E headache and wait for hours for a sore head which is not so bad today.
Tea with lemon. It really helps.
Eat something you really like! I had a headache and then I went to eat cocopop I really love and then after abit my headache was gone!
X
something really bind strongly as a scarf round head n ur set.
Believe me it helps, I have severe headaches
WOW think you went a bit further on the cons analgesic pain before too, not to mention Odinga paracetamol can also leave you with a headache especially if you regularly take both. Besides the obvious headaches may also mean the hunger of its important to eat and maintain balance in your blood sugar in the blood / and believe it or not, constipation. Eat and sit on the toilet! Apart from things like front that is available from most pharmacies, I use Tiger Balm. This works for me and is available in white or red is stronger and what I personally use. Started to use this forum when work and find OK
Sometimes, paracetamol can give you headaches. I have to rely on co-codamol for a back injury and sometimes if I take some for my back pain that lead me to a headache.
I realize you're probably not feeling up to par, but a good massage and reflexology (foot massage) are all good things to do for a headache, in fact for anything! The key points of your feet in particular are key areas for each body part, inside and outside, including the head!
Peppermint and caffeine and lots of water.
The narcotics that you put in your body that are worse. Peppermint suck .... drink tea very cafeinated, coffee to open blood vessels in your head. If you have any friction or Vicks vapor rub mentholatim on temples and under your eyes.
Depending on what you have been drinking alcohol that you were able to make the veins or small. You can not have a hangover, your body is responding to your recent activities.
I know that this right is going to sound like rubbish, but have a touch of old handkerchief malt vinegar in a shallow bend the tissue pad and soak in vindgar squeeze it until it "is fair Wet and set the place on the front, repeat this process so that you feel the headache goes, I promise you it will be, that's what my old mother did for me when I was little and I I `ve used on my children and their all grown up now, for many years still works good luck!
Willow bark Feverfew Tea
serious drinking at least one liter of water
more than one is to influence the hydration
If you have a headache, aspirin, aspirin and nothing else would help, since it opens the capillaries, but you must take when you get the first sign of a headache, not Paracetamol, nothing else
Maybe you can try pain balm, herbal. It certainly reduces t.
