Posted on February 12, 2010.
HalitosisHalitosis?

before I had braces fresh breath controllable, but didn't brush my teeth enough times where I had braces, so now I'm the bad breath. I and oral hygiene very good right now. I use antiseptic mouthwash for about 5 months now but it does not always go away. Please give me some suggestions on what I can do?

Bad breath can be caused by a cavity, but most often it is caused by a combination of gum disease and bacteria on the tongue. Floss after eating. Flossing is important as brushing. The floss normally cause the gums to heal.

And each time that you brush your teeth, brush your tongue. When you're finished brushing your tongue, it should look like red and healthy, not gray. And then use a good antiseptic mouthwash.

Now kiss me!

chewing gum.

and brush your teeth frequently throughout the day!

(:

Brushing twice a day with antibacterial toothpaste and using a toothbrush with a built-in tongue scraper can eliminate bad breath.

chewing gum?

If you are flossing and the problem persists, you can have a cavity that is giving you bad breath

eww no offense Tonge your turn green because thats wat I heard

ask ur dentist. but I guess u can use a mouthwash, dental floss heart, and chewing gum.

I POP mint before going to talk to anyone. I've always been afraid I would be talking to someone and make them GAG, it is almost a phobia at this point. BUT I've never had bad breath, I'm not positive, it would be useful.
I have heard however, that the floss after every meal with silk and floss BEFORE USING MOUTHWASH MINT works well.

try to gargle warm water mixed with salt and ginger.

You should brush your tongue as well each time you brush your teeth. A large number of germs in the mouth are on your tongue, and they can contribute to halitosis. Just use your toothbrush to brush the back of your tongue forward several times while you brush your teeth. Then rinse and spit as usual.

You might also consider obtaining a cheap water pik. I try to use once or twice daily after brushing with a mouthwash little water. It is a very clean!

Long before you had braces you were in a different place in your life. As we age, halitosis is more frequent. Chew gum when you're out of the house and keep the mint with you.
