Can be caused headaches for glaucoma? my daughter has too many headaches I told him, he is prob her and she needed glasses, but wonder if she has glaucoma?
Acute glaucoma (high pressure inside the globus eye / eyeball) VERY cause severe pain with other symptoms such as lightning, so no, she did not have acute glaucoma. But no doubt if she has eye trouble (what we call astenopy, which involves the headaches too), then I recommend you take her to an ophthalmologist first. If after that, the doctor concluded that his eye problem is not, then you should see a neurologist, he could be the cause of tension cephaleia (very common and treated with your best fight against the killer pain), migraine headaches, This would have a more long-term treatment and not just during the crisis, consisting of propranolol derivatives and sumatriptan daily during the crisis. Again, I am just informing you. This does not replace your doctor. I hope I help :-)
