Instant Oatmeal on food exchange diabetic?? Would a package of instant oatmeal quack after as1 or 2 grains on the meal plan diabetic exchange?
I am losing weight too and it is so hard. My aunt is using a weight loss product and it is really working for her. I'll try it and I recommend you try it too. Visit their website
http://www.thin-fit.info, my aunt got a free trial and paid only $ 5.49 shipping and handling.
I do not like instant oatmeal is loaded with sugar and other things wrong. In addition, it is more expensive because it is a "convenience" food. This morning for breakfast I'll have oatmeal regularly with maple syrup and some Kashi GoLean Crunch! sprinkled on top. (Oats Malt-O-Meal on sale for $ 0.99 and got a $ 0.75 coupon I printed from the website. In fact, it was sold several times I could print the coupon a few times though. So I had at least eight bottles of oats for only a quarter a piece. The Kashi was only $ 0.50 box, too. It was on sale for 2 , $ 50 and I had some buy one get one free coupons I am to be on the mailing list. In a way, the six boxes came to $ 3. We buy real maple syrup because we are picky and do not like fake maple flavored fructose corn syrup.)
Anyway, once the water boiled and cooked oatmeal, it is only ten minutes. Not much more than five minutes for "instant" stuff. In addition, with regular oats, you can control the type of sweetener and how much you save, plus real fruit, not little flakes of dried fruit.
