When the mini pill (estrogen alone) become less effective? If you are still nursing, but your baby is eating solid food and nursing only 4 times a day, is there a higher chance of the pill less effective? And would it increase your chances of pregnancy? My doctor told me to wait until I was ready to detach to move to a regular pill. Now, I'm afraid of pregnancy ... my 7 month old baby.
As long as you take the right time and never miss a pill, you'll be fine. It has nothing to do with how often or exclusively your feed. I continued to take the mini pill after weaning my daughter and was very good, but I was a duty to make when I was supposed to.
