How does an assessment eating disorder? I gotta go to "The Emily Program", which is a recycling program in Minnesota for people suffering from eating disorders.
I go for my bulimia and they said there will be an assessment every day.
Does anyone know what happens?
I think asking questions and actions and things,
but I do not like not knowing what will happen to something as important as that.
After being hospitalized with an eating disorder, I can at least tell you what I experienced my first day.
I met a nutritionist, we were discussing what my caloric intake for the day should be, and how not to limit myself. You'll have to find a compromise between what you consider your ideal weight, and what is really healthy for yourself.
I also met a physiciatrist to explain why I felt the need to cling to this disorder and why my bulimia made me feel "in control".
You will most likely be weighed, given a kind of natural to ensure that bulimia has not already caused a more imminent danger to your body.
They will also moniter your use of bathroom.
Good luck to you, and know that recovery does not really come to those who truly need it.
