Dremel Vice

Posted on March 12, 2010.
Dremel ViceAttach a vise to set up without drilling holes?

I have a block of Butch borkbench above and I would get a vice to a point. I also have a workstation Dremel (mini drill).

I would be able to go up to my desk of these but I don t really want to drill holes in my studio because I want to be able to exchange in and out when I need to release and the room where I don 't need it.

Are there good alternatives to drill a hole in my bench?
I have seen these great things shaped metal clip big C or something that has a large screw that clamps (not sure of what he calls it) and I wondered if they might work. Or something similar.

If this isn't going to work, do they sell flaws that just happen at your work? Will they have a good job or is it cheese?

I'm new to this stuff.

Thank you!

mount the equipment to a piece 3 / 4 inch thick hollow bolts, then use c clamps to clamp it to the Judiciary

mount them on a heavy board first, then use tongs to set the work in your bench vice, without drilling holes.

And yes, they are a vice that clamps to your desk and it works fine as long as you do not use it for the great job assignment type heavy.

You can also build a separate stand or table for your vice and mounted on a tripod too.

A defect is usually set somewhere permanent - if you do not drill holes. As you may post a torque on it, it is better IMHO way. Look up, it can live w / o being traded against something else.

Explore a few small flaws, I think they come with their own clip and you will not break

Yes, they are a vice that clamps to the table.
