Two types of perscription pill? I shuddered at the pill in hand and some HY suddenly emerged. I noticed that some had an identification number (or other) and some had another. Is this normal (mixed types) or the pharmacy makes a mistake?
More than likely, the pharmacy ran out of pills in a bottle when filling your prescription. They ended with another bottle, and lot numbers and different. Although it is universally frowned upon to mix different drugs manufacturors, the opinion is more mixed when it comes to prizes.
take to the pharmacy and ask them.
I'd take to the pharmacy because it sounds like one or another type of drug has been mixed, or they have two brands made by two different companies to fill your script. I would check to be sure, mistakes can be dangerous Med.
This could be as simple as a different lot number from the manufacturers of pills. It would be a ood idea to ask your pharmacist Tho, in the case of an error in your order.
it is not "normal" thing, but occurs when our wholesale switches the manufacturer of a particular drug. Evenutally, someone must get the last of the old and the first of the new.
Rather than wate time here, call your pharmacy and ASK
