DHA supplement? I asked my doctor about it and she said it's all mine. I am pregnant (33 weeks) and I asked my doctor if I should take a supplement of DHA, as expectations LIPIL. She said that as my prenatal vitamin does not contain DHA, so I can. I've checked with my pharmacist and verified that the mine has not DHA. I think it would be good for me to take because they say it promotes the development of the brain and eyes. What do you think? She said that some people do not want to spend the extra money, because my baby is used shall be deprived of anything if I do not take it but I think if it can possibly improve brain and eye and it will not hurt my baby so I really must absolutely take it. What do you think and do you or would you take?
I am 22 weeks pregnant and I am both a prenatal vitamin and supplement of DHA per day. I think it's worth the extra money on DHA because of the benefits that you mentioned.
Best wishes and take care!
I used a supplement because I was avoiding the fish (in part because of mercury and partly because I developed an aversion to the taste). You can certainly get Omega 3 fish oil, fish oil or flaxseed / flaxseed oil, fish but you have to watch for the mercury. Some fish oil supplements on the package say they are mercury-free, you should check for this. The fish oil is probably cheaper than the Enfamil product. Also, I heard that flax seed should be avoided because it contains phytoestrogens, which mimic human hormones, but I do not know what research is about it. I would be interested to hear if anyone has more info on the flax. The supplement claims to be non-Enfamil fish, but I'm not sure how it is done, it might be linseed oil. I agree with you that if it can be useful and certainly not harmful, then it's worth, assuming you do not get omega 3 from other sources.
My doctor has informed the fish oil and I was taken for the last 4 years, during my two pregnancies. I do not know about brain development, but you never know.
I think it's OK
I have expectations when I took prenatal OTC, then I switched to a vitamin order he had already here, but my script co-pays has risen recently, so I'm back in the TBT and expectations. I recommend it. is about $ 10 for a 30 day supply - not bad. I thought the same thing as you, it will not hurt, but it might help.
I saw an ad for the same pill, so yeah I thought it would be good for my son growing inside of me so I asked my pedicure has done this for 30 years, and more first he said that this product is not necessarily bad, but doesnot necessarily make a lot of other I asked this when I was 30 weeks pregnant and said that more development for the eyes and brain occurs 14 weeks per window / 20 in order to take this time would not really do much. Hope this helps
Is a drug. Remember that.
If your family has a history of vision problems, then I probably would consider doing so. Otherwise, I would not. See for yourself.
I consider fish oil. Safe. A DHA. Dear. I already take every day at the recommendation of my doc.
It is a very healthy thing to supplement with and very popular in Scandinavian countries. I am 32 weeks and a supplement of DHA per capsule of salmon oil wild. I do not think he has a bad taste or after all, and I take 3 per day.
Some points to remember when supplements of DHA:
Borage oil is not considered safe during pregnancy (which is found in omega 3,6,9 capsules)
It is unknown about the safety of flaxseed oil
* Cod liver oil is rich in vitamin A which, if taken in abundance, can cause birth defects. (Probably a problem in early pregnancy, and yet not too much of a problem if you eat lots of carrots.
