Tell me if this sounds ok im writing a short essay on how to avoid being too big ...? Obesity is excess body fat. A person is considered obese when he or she is 20% or more above normal weight. The occurs when an individual consumes more calories than it burns, or UAS, and the best way to avoid the
obtaining a healthy diet that consists of consuming nutrients by eating the appropriate amounts from all food groups, including a fair amount of water.
Also avoid being stressed, they may encourage realease of cortisol (stress hormone) which causes insulin resistance and weight of my gain.It also start binging behavior and can afford to be less physically active.
Moderate exercise such as walking and jogging may reduce the risk of diabetes and heart disease and keeping your body and mind strong.
Is what I should add or remove ???... Information is not enough?
I want to add more in the end but I dnt know wat thing I should add ...
I would like to borrow a book by Dr. David Kessler, former head of the Food and Drug Administration. In 1960, older Americans weighed about the same as they did when they were young. Today, even teenagers are becoming obese and people tend to become heavy as they get older. This was not typical before 1980.
In the 1980s, something changed, and Americans become more obese every year. It is even worse today. Much of the blame can be placed on the food industry that manipulates the sugar, fat and salt content of foods to make food more addictive (yes dependency).
Kessler cites studies showing how easy it is to rats addicted to American Standard Diet (SAD). Rats climb even electrified fence to get a delicious snack the other side. Drug Trends same goes for humans. Humans are genetically wired to the festival during times of plenty so they are ready for the famine. Today, we only have holiday periods.
Apple Girl, I want to give some references, such as the WHO definition of obesity by 20% on your "normal weight". I'm looking into myself, but to find who created this "normal" table and when? Weight aside, thanks to a healthier and more hormones in food, most people are just bigger - bigger, etc. - that the last generation. I think you have a good start, but I would put a few references - and maybe even find those challenges. Good luck.
You can work on your punctuation yo. It is out of a lot of places. I think you covered it all: stress, healthy eating and exercise. Just summarize your text in your last sentence, stating that these are the main factors that contribute to a healthy life in general.
good information but I would also add something about vitamins, etc.! =)
NO! I think it is Fantabulous. Do not change a thing, it will do wonders for your short essay.
Nice work! could not have done better myself!
Cheers
Split your ideas in more than one paragraph, and punctuation check. Sounds like a good start.
and not a test and you want to make sure you have a good opening sentences of three and a point before you feel sums up your point total. You should have three paragraphs in three sentences to your point along your thesis.
One could say three things that help reduce weight gain and fat accumulation (because you can gain muscle weight) are: healthy diet, excersize and a stress free environment.
Your next three paragraphs should delve more deeply into one. eating 2. excersize and 3. stress-free environment.
Then you only need a closing paragraph that summarizes what you have said.
Some corrections you must do: obesity in terms of percentage of body fat are different for men and women. For example, among men 25% is considered obese, but among women it is 31%.
Or 20%.
