Combined Oral Contraceptive Pill

I started the pill on Saturday two weeks ago and the same day me and my boyfriend did it ..... we didn't use any other protection, and he came in me ... we arent sure whether or not the pill as soon as I wasn't .. informed if someone could please help clarify this for me?

My doctor has always specified seven days --- and I waited for this time without any problem.

"If you start taking the pill within five days after the start of your period, pill protection begins immediately. If you start taking it at any time during your menstrual cycle, protection of the pill starts one week later. "

When I switched from the Depo shot to the pill, my doctor told me to use protection during the first 7 days of pill use. It takes some time for the hormones to regulate in your system. There is a chance that you could put you at risk of pregnancy.
