Colazal Dosage- The medical uses, dosage and side effects of Colazal

Some patients in clinical trials required for the treatment of 12 weeks.

Uses of Colazal

* This medication is used to treat swelling and inflammation of the colon.
* It is also often used to treat ulcerative colitis.

Colazal Side Effects

Side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medication. However, check with your doctor if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome.

The most common: -

Diarrhoea *

* Stomach pain.

Less common: -

* Blood in urine
* Constipation
* Cough
* Cramps
* Dry mouth
* Fever
* Flu-like symptoms
* Blow
* Heartburn or upset stomach
* Joint pain
* Loss of appetite
* Lumbar Pain
* Muscle pain
* Pain or burning when urinating
Stuffy nose *
* Difficulty sleeping or falling asleep
* Unusual tiredness or weakness
* Skin yellowish.

Side effects may include:

* Abdominal
* Headaches
* Nausea
* Vomiting
Respiratory infection *

Other side effects not listed above may also occur in some patients. If you notice other effects, check with your doctor.
Warnings and precautions before taking Colazal:

* If you have a liver problem, make sure your doctor knows before starting treatment.

* If you have a pyloric stenosis (narrowing of the output of the stomach), Colazal capsules may be slow to pass through the digestive tract.

* You must tell your doctor your medical history, especially if you have stomach problems, allergies you may have.
* You must also tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this medicine.
* After taking this medication, you can then dizziness or drowsiness. So you should not participate in activities that require alertness such as driving and operating machinery.

Although many people a significant relief of Colazal, you should be aware that in rare cases, symptoms worse.

This medication has not been tested in children.

Drug Interactions: "If you take Colazal with certain other drugs, the effects of either could be increased, decreased, or altered. It is therefore particularly important to check with your doctor before combining with other drug Colazal. Although drug interactions with Colazal have not yet been studied, it is possible that oral antibiotics might interfere with the release of Colazal in the colon.

Overdose

Little is known about Colazal overdose. But after taking Colazal if you think that overdose is suspected, then you should contact your doctor immediately. Because this can lead to other serious consequences.
