Bleeding After Taking The Morning After Pill

Ok, so a month ago I started on birth control. During the placebo week me and my boyfriend had sex and the condom slipped, as drawing. In the next 24 hours, I took the morning after pill. Then two days later, my normal cycle of birth control began when I took it. Now, a week later I was bleeding like a period but much lighter. Is this normal?
