What are the symptoms of bipolar disorder? I was wondering, what are like the symptoms of bipolar disorder? I know it's like a maniac and a major depressive, or there is another kind? ii known as bipolar or something? as, his hyper and a little manic depression? All details on this? Also, someone might be able to suspect that they are bipolar or bipolar II (if that is his name)? Thank you beforehand. I do not try to diagnose anyone, I just wonder, from some of the symptoms and different types of bipolar.
There is a bipolar, bipolar 2, and NOS cyclothemia bipolar.
Cyclothemia is the sweetest. It is characturized hypomania (mania lite) and mild depression. People can generally cyclothemia function, but they can have a life somewhat unstable and can greatly benefit from therapy.
Bipolar 2 is the "swinging" bipolar. It goes to severe depression hypomania. People with bipolar two tend to go through discounts, and can operate during periods of hypomania in general, but may not be able to operate during periods of severe depression. They often end up asking for help while depression is misdiagnosed.
Bipolar 1 is the "rage" that goes from bipolar mania full, severe depression, or mixed episodes. Mania can cause psychotic symptoms and serious disturbances in the operation. mixed episodes are unique to a bipolar. Basically, they are what they look like. Hypomania is a milder version of that. The person is hyperactive, talks fast, spend a lot of money, takes more projects than they would otherwise ... but it does not usually cause their operation to decompose. Many people become very creative during hypomanic episodes.
Mixed is the most disagreeable. Paranoia, anxiety, anger, insomnia, and hopelessness are common symptoms.
