Aneurysm Headache

Posted on February 28, 2010.
Aneurysm HeadacheThe difference between a tension headache and an aneurysm?

Recently I've been a constant headache and pressure in my cheeks, nose and ears. In addition, there is room in the back of my head hurts on and off. Last night it was wrong (yes, this is a place on the back of my head), it is off, but Im afraid it is an aneurysm. Is it just a tension headache? can lead to an aneurysm? or am I just paranoid? plz let me know so I can tell my doctor on Friday

An aneurysm is a blood vessel ruptured, it is very dangerous.

I guess it's an aneurysm. There are many possible causes of your headaches that are not so serious. It could be based on a sinus problem for example.

I think you're paranoid, but check with a doctor! : D

Make sure your affairs are in order. Stay away from microwave and flames. you find a nice place to watch the sunset. it was nice knowing you.

You can die of an aneurysm. The blood vessels in the brain popping. Not good. Most likely just a headache.

It sounds like allergies TTH / me, I'm not a doctor, but I had headaches like yours and thought it was something aweful being the hypochondriac that I am. Aneurysms usually produce no symptoms until they pop, but can cause blurred vision and other things .. VEW but if it appeared the headache would be horrible when you couldnt speak and happen quickly. If you have any doubts about this go see a doctor to make you feel better.

A lot of misinformation in previous posts. The prevalence of aneurysms in the general population is estimated at between 2 and 4%. Thus, while fairly rare, it is not a chance in 1000. chronic headaches can be symptoms of an aneurysm so that you would be wise to consult a doctor. From your symptoms of facial pressure, it seems that you are more likely to have a sinus infection. But you should also see a doctor for that.
