Adrenal Fatigue? Anyone have adrenal fatigue and what do you do for her? Have you seen a naturpath (?) And this change of diet did you do, and a year. Please help, I'm so tired of feeling like this. Thanks!
Hi, there. I feel your pain. Adrenal fatigue is horrible! I see an MD that is inclusive of food allergy tests which revealed a number of food allergies. The elimination of these foods has been an incredible difference in my energy level and overall health. I have several friends who have found relief from adrenal fatigue by simply removing all milk and dairy products from their diet. They have been able to do without food allergy tests and made an immediate difference in what they felt.
I also do a continuous cleaning candida infection candida as puts a drain on the adrenals. My doc told me to take the following on a daily basis: vitamin B complex, Vit. C, Vit. D, magnesium, zinc, multivitamins and minerals, and a good fish oil or flaxseed oil supplement. (Note that flaxseed oil should be refrigerated or it will go rancid in a very short period of time. No additional purchases of linseed oil that is not refrigerated.) Based on these supplements helped me feel better very quickly. I also received vitamin B12 shots, which had an immediate effect on my energy level. I added milk thistle and turmeric in the army doctor recommended, as both are very good remedy for the liver. You should not take hormones, natural or synthetic, without first receiving a thorough test of the hormone in the saliva. These tests indicate how your hormones fluctuate during the day and may indicate some supplements or treatments you can use to feel better.
I feel much better in the days I can sleep in the past 8 or later. Attached to your body and try to work your daily schedule to fit. I know this is easier said than done, but it works. I also found that going to bed by 9 pm works, but I must admit I am a night owl and hate that. :)
If nothing else, please you're not alone. There are many of us here who have the same struggles as you do and who can sympathize with how difficult it can be ... especially since you do not "look" of disease. Feel free to contact me personally if you want more information. I wish you good luck.
Have you read the book "Adrenal Fatigue by Dr. Wilsoon? This is the best source of information that I found on adrenal fatigue. I highly recommend obtaining a copy or a control from the library. One of the best parts of the book is a test to determine if your symptoms are related to adrenal fatigue or not. The book also gives a very accurate description of adrenal fatigue that made me feel like they have been written about me. It is essential reading for all those who suffer from adrenal fatigue. You can find more information on this topic www.adrenalfatigue.org.
Beyond that, I agree with many of the other respondents. Adopt a very healthy diet, let rest for yourself when you need (even if only a 10 minute break
I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's thyroiditis, adrenal fatigue and gluten / wheat / dairy intolerance. The fatigue and muscle aches are unbearable, as I felt like walking death! Thank you God, a naturopath is a saliva test to check my hormone levels and introduced me to herbal bio-identical hormones. Report Abuse
